A spoof comedy film obviously aiming for cult status, with many references to other horror films. The title is a spoof of Silence of the Lambs although the screenplay follows Psycho more nearly.
Jokey references and sight gags come thick and fast. Early on a man at FBI headquarters is holding a newspaper and saying, "Have you read this? A guy can go out and get a sex change one day and the next he comes into the office and we are supposed to call him 'Ma'am'!"
We see a crossdressed actor walking away from camera in the lobby. I suppose this must be a reference to the rumour that J Edgar Hoover was a crossdresser in his time as head of the FBI.
Soon after that, an elegantly dressed woman is being interrogated; the camera lowers to her legs and we see a very hairy pair of male thighs showing under the skirt.
The shower scene from Psycho is repeated here; Norman seems to have dressed fully as his Mother in this film -- in the original we didn't ever get a clear sight of him in this clothing.
This isn't the greatest comedy film ever made, but I found it amusing entertainment.
